Legal notice and use of the guide
Purpose, use of the prompts, data, rights to the content and liability.
Purpose of the guide
“The Effective Prompting Guide” is an educational initiative created as part of the event «AI, l’Illusione della Conoscenza – Sfida l’Esperto», Lugano, 28 October 2026. The organisers, partners and authors of the individual contributions are listed on the “About” page and in the respective sections.
The guide offers general guidance, examples and templates for a responsible use of artificial intelligence. Its contents do not constitute legal, tax, psychological, medical or other individual professional advice. Reading the guide and using the templates does not create an advisory relationship with the organisers or with the professionals mentioned.
Use of the prompts and checking the answers
The prompts are examples to be adapted to the specific situation, country, sector and applicable rules. Using them does not guarantee answers that are correct, complete or fit for purpose.
AI systems can produce errors, omissions, non-existent references or outdated information, even when the answer looks convincing. Results may vary depending on the tool, its version, its settings and the context available.
Before using an answer, check its facts, sources and applicability. A check carried out by the AI itself and completing the guide’s checklists do not certify the result and do not replace human judgement. For decisions that require professional expertise, consult the relevant professional.
Personal data and confidential information
Before entering data or documents into an AI system, make sure you are authorised to do so and that you comply with your organisation’s rules, confidentiality obligations and applicable law.
Using a company account or excluding data from training does not, on its own, authorise uploading any material. Use only the information you need, and bear in mind that removing names does not make data anonymous if people can still be identified from the context.
Rights to the content and permitted uses

You may read the guide, share the link to the website, and copy and adapt the prompts and templates for your personal and professional activities, including commercial ones, and for internal use within your organisation.

Updates and third-party tools
The contents reflect the information available at the date they were written or last updated as indicated. Features, prices, plans, contractual terms and settings of AI tools may change. Before choosing or using a service, consult its official documentation and the applicable terms.

Although care has been taken in preparing the guide, it is not guaranteed to be free of errors or that its contents are suitable for every specific situation.
To the extent permitted by law, the authors and those responsible for publication accept no liability for damage arising from the use of the guide or of the answers obtained with the prompts. Liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, in particular for intent or gross negligence, remains unaffected.
