Beyond the prompt
Company brain, project instructions, skills and your first month with AI.
Beyond the prompt
Context the AI finds ready and waiting
The six steps improve each single request. The next step is to prepare the context once, so that every request starts out informed. A longer prompt does not necessarily give a better answer: what matters is what the AI already has before the question.
Context yes, sensitive data no. For work, use a company account: Anthropic does not use data from its commercial plans for training unless you explicitly opt in, and by default OpenAI does not use data from ChatGPT Business and Enterprise. On a personal ChatGPT account, you can turn it off in Settings › Data controls.
Your first month with AI, week by week
- Week 1 · Settings and one taskCompany account, data excluded from training. Choose a task you do every week and measure how long it takes today, review included.
- Week 2 · The materialsCollect the documents that task needs, without personal data. This is the first piece of the company brain.
- Week 3 · Instructions and skillWrite the project instructions with the template below and save the method as a skill (skill-creator in Claude, @skill-creator in ChatGPT). Test it on 3–5 real cases. If you use agents, add CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md (the /init command prepares it).
- Week 4 · Measure and decideCompare total time and quality with week 1, checking included. If it holds up, move on to a second task or a colleague; if not, fix the instructions before expanding.
You set it up once, with an AI Consultant. After that, the question is one line.
The project instructions template
You are the assistant to [role: the COO of ..., the fiduciary of ...] on [type of work]. Your work is a draft: the decision stays with me. Materials: use only the materials in this project. You work on descriptions and aggregated data: do not ask for or use personal data, names or confidential content. Method: apply [my method / the skill "..."]. Always start from [the client's problem, not the tool]. Facts and assumptions: mark every important statement as [from the materials], [assumption] or [to be verified]. Do not invent numbers, prices, sources or studies. Questions: if information that would change the result is missing, ask at most 3 questions before writing. Otherwise go ahead and state your assumptions. Final check: end with a point-by-point check against the method and flag anything not yet covered. Rules: the following apply: [country, canton, reference standards]. Format: [tables, length, tone].

From a single prompt to everyday work
A company brain, project instructions and skills are set up once, around your company's processes. This is the work Dedalix does with SMEs in Ticino and across Switzerland: it starts by mapping processes and know-how, so that the knowledge stays in the company.
